S. Marti 15 Day Marble Crystal Regulator - Time & Strike

THIS CLOCK WAS A RESTORATION PROJECT, AND IS NOT FOR SALE.

This clock was made in the third quarter of the 19th century and is an excellent example of the French Marble style.

The Marti count wheel mechanism was in good condition, but quite dirty. The Ellicott compensating pendulum was in need of a good polishing, and the original marble center piece for the pendulum was cracked; we replaced it with beveled glass.

All of the metal parts on this clock have been polished to a high sheen. The brass parts in the mechanism and case have all been polished and gold plated, and all the screws have been polished and re-blued.
