THIS CLOCK WAS A RESTORATION PROJECT, AND HAS BEEN SOLD.
This hard to find clock came from an auction. It was not in running order, and the case was badly in need of some veneer work, and a good polishing and waxing.
The Seth Thomas #89 movement was removed and completely disassembled, cleaned, and oiled after reassembly.
The #104A 8-bell sonora chime movement was also removed, disassembled completely, cleaned and oiled.
As can be seen from the photos, everything was highly polished before reassembly.
The case veneers were repaired where damaged, and all exterior case brasses were polished and gold plated.
