THIS CLOCK WAS A RESTORATION PROJECT FOR A CLIENT, AND IS NOT FOR SALE.

This pretty little 1860s marble clock had been neglected for a number of years, and basically needed a good cleaning throughout. The clock has a Marti movement with an open escapement; the movement was fully intact, but very dirty. The movement was removed from the case, all pivots were polished, and the plates were polished and gold plated. All movement screws were polished and flame blued. The Brocot escapement was polished and gold plated, as were all the brass dial components. The case was polished, and the front and rear brass bezels were polished and gold plated.
